About Fareboos
Fareboos is a logistics management platform built specifically for African operators — designed to handle the real challenges of running freight, courier, and distribution businesses across the continent.
Fareboos was founded in Amsterdam by an African entrepreneur who spent years watching logistics companies across the continent struggle with software built for entirely different markets.
Dispatchers managing fleets over WhatsApp. Invoices sent as PDFs by email. Drivers with no real-time way to update customers. The tools that existed were designed for European roads and Western payment rails — not for the realities of African logistics.
We set out to build the platform that should have existed years ago. One that understands NGN, KES, and GHS natively. One that works on slow and intermittent connections. One that sends delivery updates via WhatsApp because that's where African customers are.
Fareboos is currently in its early phase, actively being built and refined with real operators. We're moving fast and focused on getting the fundamentals exactly right.

The principles that guide everything we build and every decision we make.
Every feature is built with African roads, networks, currencies, and users in mind. We don't localise — we build native.
Logistics is mission-critical. Our platform is built for 99.9% uptime, offline resilience, and low-bandwidth environments.
We talk to logistics operators regularly. Real problems from real operators drive every release we ship.
Complex operations deserve simple software. We strip away everything that doesn't help dispatchers do their jobs faster.
